Here is a short introduction of us in English, for the time being our main site is only available in Finnish!

My
name is Aija Tanskanen, I'm a 23-year-old student from Jyväskylä,
Central Finland. I have two lovely Australian
Shepherds: JK1 BH TK1 TK2 Hazelmoor Natty Napkin "Rini" and her fullsibling
Hazelmoor Nefertiti Nia "Neve". We train actively in obedience,
agility, search & rescue (people search) and tracking. We have
been quite active in
visiting dog shows too.

Rini is a dream-come-true. Full of energy and always eager to work, we never have a boring day in our lives. She has truly shown what a loyal and loving companion can be. Rini has been healthy for all her life. She has a nice temperament and it's easy to go anywhere with her. We have been attending to obedience and search & rescue ever since she was a pup, later on we included agility and tracking in our training program. We even went to water rescue course with her one summer.
We compete in obedience, search & rescue, tracking and agility.
It's great pleasure to live and train with Rini. I have high expectations of her in the future! She knows when to take it easy and relax but when it's time to work she works eagerly and from the bottom of her heart. She is social towards people and animals, though she is a bit reserved to strangers. I love her attitude when working, she would never leave a job undone. There is a special kind of bond between us and I can honestly say Rini is "the dog of my life".

Neve came to us pretty much without a warning: I had been looking for a pup for a while and then in May 2009 I heard Rini's fullsibling was looking for a new home. She had caught my eye when she was a pup so I just couldn't resist the temptation. I forgot all my puppy plans and took in this 2,5-year-old lady. Neve has been living with us for over a year now and she is an important part of our family. I have no regrets on taking her in :)
Neve is a once-in-a-lifetime dog: she goes around with the sort of "happy-happy-joy-joy" attitude and makes a fuzz of everything. If Rini is Her Royal Majesty of our household, then Neve is our Clown. There hardly is a moment she stands still! Knowing her and living with her has been great fun. She hasn't been much of a "problem dog" like people usually think when a dog is in a need of a new home. In this case Neve's previous owner was just forced to face the fact that she didn't have enought time for this young and active little lass.
We have started training obedience, agility and tracking with Neve and I have high expectations of her! Neve loves to work and is very eager to please, she has massive amounts of speed and drive so I'm really looking forward to competing with her in these different venues.
Neve is staying with us under breeding terms, owned by Minna Saros, kennel Hazelmoor.
